Information

Kit consists of 2kg of PART A and 900g of PART B

Total kit volume 2.68 Litres

PART A is a cream liquid and PART B is a amber liquid that have virtually no odour and react to form a strong, tough, very hard polyurethane rubber white in colour. This product has a hardness comparable to trolly and roller skate wheel etc.

The colour of the cured plastic can be changed with the addition of a colour pigment to part A prior to mixing the two components. We have a range of compatible colour pigments here

This product has a mixing ratio of 100:45 by weight.

The working time is approximately 6-7 minutes and the casting can generally be de-moulded in 1-2 hours depending on the temperature, size and especially the thickness of the casting.

Warning!!! It's very important the product itself and the room is at least 20°C when used. Also the reaction generates heat which is necessary for the curing process, if mixing small amounts or spreading the material out in very thin sections the heat will dissipate quickly retarding the cure. In the worst cases it can take several days for the material to become hard. To counter this when casting amounts below 100g or very thin items we recommend preheating the mould to 40-60°C and/or post curing whilst still in the mould for several hours at 40-60°C.
